Folding tables on rear of front seats

Featured Replies

I've seen some pictures that look like the tables only pop up to one position meaning that dependant on the back rest position, the tables will be lop sided?

Is this correct?

I've also got a concern about them creaking - unfounded?

Thanks guys

The tables are indeed unipositional (I've made that word up, but I like it so I'm sticking with it), however the change in angle to the table is minimal when the chair is in realistic positions (I.e. you'd probably not want to use it when the chair is reclined a long way anyway).

They are a bit noisy putting up and down but I've not noticed noise on the go. But then I don't encourage having them up on the go as I wouldn't like them sticking out if we were to have a collision.

Useful in the carpark when the missus is eating her Kentucky fried hangover reliever, but we tend to fold away before heading off.

Unipositional = multi positional?

How is the angle / height adjusted?

Has anybody got pictures of them in 'action' I could see please ?

They click into one place, and that's it.

They move with the seat but unless you are lying down to drive then it's not really noticable.

It takes a fair bit of force to fold them away as well, at least in my yeti...

I'm never sending you shopping for a unicycle ;-)

I've taken some photos. As soon as my phone has enough charge to upload them I'll share them

Sorry about the exposure. Not time to do more as I'm off to look at a Vulcan then away for a few days

I had them on my Yeti and the most useful part was a small bag-hook underneath each one. I don't know if the Yeti has these hooks. They were standard on the Tig but to be honest never really used them  except for using the cup holder part as somewhere to store my walking stick or umbrella!

Thanks very much for the photos

Overall a waste of time, money and space because if you sit in the rear to use them adjusted to suit with nobody using the front seats it's easier just to put items on your lap I've found.

I use this, quite handy and removable :

I bought a metal folding back seat table when I was in Spain a few years back, quite handy, check on the Bay of EE.

We've upgraded to these
