Skoda keys setting off Asda security

Featured Replies

Discovered over the last 2 visits to Asda my Skoda keys are setting off their entry/ exit security alarm. Tested it today and it set the alarm off spoke to security would appear some phones and car keys can occasionally set the alarm off. Never had any problem with my old Skoda keys maybe it's the new stop/start technology. Anyone had a similar problem Joe

No, Joe - not that particular problem - but the Front Assist wouldn't let me out of the local recycling centre last week!!

Must be the steel track that the entrance gates run on - its the first time that my Front Assist applied the brakes!

It let me into the centre - concrete must be a bit higher on outside than inside.

I went around a second time - and same performance. It was way funny - in that location! Might be way scarier on the road though!

It absolutely stiches it to the ground. Glad I had seatbelt on !

You can turn the front assist off (or maybe you did to get out) if it happens again. Have front assist on mine wonder if it would save you from a cash for crash sting. Joe PS have seen the sign on the dashboard but I was braking at the time.

It just drove out - after I got out to see if there was a corpse on the ground that I hadn't seen !!

The large sign comes up fairly frequently - especially if something in front is turning off and come a bit too close while passing by.

The small sign (with the two little cars) comes up frequently enough on the motorway - think it could do with a little ping sound - have to stop getting so close to cars in front - difficult when they suddenly move into your path, or slow suddenly!

Anyway - my keys (full Kessy) haven't set off anything yet, Joe !

Ciaooo!

Ah, progress, is it not just a wonderful thing, I seem to remember STOP/START getting annoyed/annoying when my wife gets out (and I am still in the car) to open the garage door!
