Bit of advice if possible.  I have had some interest but not as much as I had expected.  Having compared to autotrader mine is the 4th cheapest with the others being higher mileage and older.  Am I being unrealistic with the price? It is set with negotiating in mind but the offers have been just too low so far.

Are the others trade? I've found (I suspect) that most people buying higher value cars rely on trade sales offering px and finance. I can't shift my Fabia I think for similar reasons. Also trade sellers generally offer warranty and people like peace of mind.

Just a thought.

Very difficult to get a private sale on this value of car. People want security from buying from a dealer and the ease of finance etc... Ended up selling mine to a trader for £15,750.

Sadly I think you're right.  A buyer would still get the same warranty as it has the manufacturers still in place but I can understand the security and finance point of view.  Having said that, I didn't have any problem selling my 1 year old SMax a few years ago.  No huge rush so will just have to wait it out and see what happens.

Car now sold.

Do you mind me asking what you got for it? I'm trying to sell mine at the min and mines currently up at the price yours was up at (different age and spec though) thanks
