skoda octavia wing mirror

Featured Replies

I returned to my car the other day to find that the passengers side wing mirror had been pulled off so that it is now just hanging by the wire connecting it to its electrics. Would it be possible to stick this unit back on? Or would I have to buy a new unit?

I'd appreciate any suggestions?

Not sure, tigerseal?

Probably broken the metal connection.  Doubt it will just "stick on" - It will be the metal joint broken.

What colour is it?  I have a complete passenger mirror in silver. :)

You can also swap the casing over quite easily..

I had the same problem when some a********** kicked mine off - stuck it back in place with some duct tape until i found one on ebay

It's a green wing mirror so I guess I could either respray or switch casing as liverpool lad said. You're right Devonutopia that it looks like the metal connection has been broken. Can I followup on that offer? How do I contact you?

Click on his name in the top left of his post, then in the window that pops up click send me a message.

I have sent a message, assume it will be received. :)
