Rosso Brunello - Metallic DISCONTINUED

Featured Replies

Just placed an order for a L&K Estate and been advised by my dealer that the Rosso Brunello is being discontinued after week 44!!!

So need to choose another colour, anyone else been advised of this change?????

That's really disappointing!! What are they replacing it with, if anything? I would have gone back to that colour again if I was buying a MkIII [emoji34]

Yes, it's disappeared as an option from the UK configurator but hasn't been replaced with an alternative (yet).

A full metallic Red would be good

Yea the dealer also informed me that rosso had been taken off, he said that i wasnt a popular colour and thats why they took it off the scheme. They arent replacing it with anything.

I would also have liked a full metallic red colour  :|

Gutted they have removed it, Petrol Blue looks like the next best. Can't have another Grey car, but a full metallic Red would make me happy!!!!!

Race blue would be nice....

I've gone with the Pacific Blue, didn't want a silver or grey car and don't like red cars and I have a black car now so in the absence of Race Blue (my favorite colour) I went with the standard pacific blue colour looks nice on the photos I've seen. should hide the dirt hopefully.

Like you would have chosen race blue but went for the lava blue finally. Yes thought about Pacific blue but was put off as someone told me they show up stone chips not sure if thats true though...

Makes mine a rarity then.....and I haven't even taken delivery yet!

Pacific blue is non-metallic.

Lave blue = Petrol blue (metallic).

Škoda - please bring back Storm Blue! Discontinued for the Superb (MY12) in 2011 when it was replaced by Lava/Petrol blue.

My Octavia was Storm Blue, absolutely stunning colour. When waxed the flake pop in the sun was immense!

Skoda, please do some  decent colours. Look  what other manufacturers  use and see how yours are very miserable in comparison. Look at Ford, Jaguar and BMW Mini  for examples. And your solid colours are very uninspiring, especially the ONLY ONE  you do not  charge extra money for. A colour can make or break a car's appeal.

Well at least Skoda still has more choice than Audi's fifty shades of grey!

I've got to change my colour choice. Apparently I've missed the cut-off by one week. To say I am massively peed-off is an understatement.

Corrida red mate.... You know that's the only way to go ;-)

Suspect you are having a light upholstery with the original Rosso? In which case I would propose Petrol/Lava blue (metallic)?

Rosso Brunelli used to be my favourite colour (combined with ivory, or now beige leather), that was until I saw a dirty one, how it changed from a lovely colour to a very drab almost brown colour... not the best choice if you do not keep the car spotlessly clean.

Petrol Blue... make sure you see one under natural lighting, ideally on an overcast day as again this changes it dramatically into a drab colour, once again though under artificial light or a bright sunny day (when it is spotless) it does look very nice.

I do think my Business Grey Superb is going to be the same as the Race Blue vRS... very common, but ATEOTD I love the colour and it is practical for me (the car can get quite dusty at work so a dark colour doesn’t really work for me).

Colours are very personal though, IMO Jungle Green is the best colour on a Yeti but doesn’t work on a Superb... others disagree.

The petrol blue with light beige leather interior looks stunning. Especially on the 19 inch pegasus wheels.

Looks stunning. Is that an L&K with the non-anthracite Pegasus wheels? They're a nice contrast with the dark paintwork.
