Nearly went for Rallye Green for the "uniqueness" factor, but Race Blue is such a nice shade I went with that.

 

Looking forward to playing with SmartLink - still not sure what it does but added it anyway 

Is early Jan optimistic? Ordered my TSi VRS back in August and still no sign although I got the email that they had started building it 2 weeks yesterday. They reckon late November/December.

 

Hate waiting! Not driven the Tsi only the TDi so hoping its good. Had a Focus RS mk1 back when they were current, and I have missed the acceleration and speed since I waved goodbye to it back in 2008.

snap ordered mine (tsi vrs race blue) on 4th September given estimate of 11 December. Had an email from skoda UK 2 weeks ago and nothing since. Phoned dealer yesterday and he said I'll have in 2-3 weeks

Ordered my VRS 4x4 last week.

VRS DSG 4x4 red with black styling pack, winter pack, leather seats red trim and stitching just under £30k

Should be delivered pre Xmas at the earliest or early Jan due to the factory shut down over Xmas.

Cant wait.

Didn't (couldn't :|  ) go mad with the options but got the black pack, tinted windows and a spare tyre (I know....pretty rock'n'roll!). Wished I'd spec'd the Canton system but was too late to change the order when I realised I wanted it. Went for the Quartz Grey Metallic colour which doesn't seem to be a popular choice when looking at other cars on the forum. Liked and test drove the racing blue colour, but thought it was a little 'in your face' for us. Always liked gun metal Audis hence why we went with that similar colour.

 

Already got a rear seat cover to stop all the mess from the two little lads in the back (and the dog).

 

How's yours spec'd?

Funnily enough the black pack doesn't do it for me. Race blue tsi hatch, smartlink, heated seats and electric folding dimming mirrors. Left off the sunset glass as the tint % is hard to judge, dealer is doing it for me with the % tint that I want and about 30 less than the option price

Nice. Interested to know your thoughts on the Smartlink.

Will let you know bud. a couple chaps I speak to on here say it's spot on for nav. One uses apple maps another other Google. Def seems as though the £150 smartlink option kicked the £755 amundsen option right in the a@#e! Although amundsen became standard a fortnight after I purchased!

So if you have Amundsen there is little need for smart link??

I personally don't think so no, it basically just shows your phone screen onto the bolero infotainment system, was called mirrorlink before

I rang my dealer, they checked my order and it's been upgraded to the Amundsen!

I pick up on Saturday so shall find out then !
