Hi folks, recently noticed an increase in fuel consumption on my 2003 1.2 Fabia. We have been carrying heavier loads than usual, but not constantly. Checked tyres, all good. Fuel consumption has doubled in recent weeks. Have taken to garage for service a few weeks ago, who mentioned the exhaust is close to needing a replacement... Will investigate further, but any thoughts in the mean time always much appreciated.

Scan for faults with VCDS could be some sensor fault, like mass airflow or something. Any competent garage who deals with modern cars should have such tech to scan faults properly, preferably one that is a V.A.G specialist !
