Manufacturers often round it off Alan

Heavy Mileage?

Its done it quickly so wouldn't be a big problem for someone wanting a car like this for that price and doing lighter mileage in the future

I thinks its a good price Andy

Round it off? it shows exact milage ,over priced new and now

That doesn't seem unreasonable to me for a VRS with Nav and Canton

I think thats not bad and some aren't bothered by the miles like me!

Goes to show they really dont hold their value very well.....45k in 16 months probably hasnt much helped its cause though.

At that money the dealer probably didnt even pay 12k for it.

If you could pick up for 13k dead its alot of car for the money and I guess nicely run in :-)

Ouch!!

Bet that owner needs some cream!!

For 13k it doesn't seem too badly priced.

I just paid £14k for a Mk3 vRS estate, 21k miles (includes Amundsen sat nav, spare wheel, cruise and sunset glass).  Wasn't from a Skoda dealer though.

This one is a year newer, nicer wheels and has Canton....but the obvious downside is that it's done more than double the average mileage for its age.  Then again, mileage wouldn't worry me, since it probably a fair chunk of motorway driving and you've still got a decent warranty left.

Personally, I think it's a steal at that price! :)

...worse case scenario, after you start driving it you notice it's not quite as refined or 'new' feeling as you'd like, then you've still got the Skoda 30-day exchange policy to fall back on.

Surely you need to look at what other VRSs are available for £13.5k before deciding whether this is a good deal.

I suspect you're comparing it to the last of the Mk2s for this money.

I have not seen a MK3 at that price yet, most admittedly with fewer miles, are around the 19k mark. High mileage in short time probably means lots of motorway, good for the engine but look out for lots of stonechips.

Are the fuel tanks really 50 litre or is misprint?

It's correct. 50 instead of 55 in the Mk2.

The quoted MPG figures are up by a fair bit so overall range isn't much different.

You'll still have a year and a bit warranty. I would. Fyi I paid nineteen and a half for a 64 plate (2015) with 6k on the clock a few months ago without the canton and nav from a dealer. That's a reasonable price.

bargain

If it was dsg I would have loved this

It is pretty cheap. I will agree it is overpriced as new as are the whole of VW and Audi but would rather drive that than a chavtastic looking Passat.

Only Professional what ?

Apologies for double post but similar theme so thats my excuse.  Just posted this in the depreciation thread.  Interested in your views

Sort of linked to this.  Looking to change my 2013 (63)  vRS (manual, petrol, 18k, excellent condition), standard less black design pack, privacy and colour maxi, so have been touring the stealers.

The PX they are quoting is (IMHO) taking the proverbial and below book.  I have looked on Autotrader today and there are no cars like mine available from my year, the nearest being a 64 DSG model, which has less miles and is from a dealer but is over £18k.

Do you think I would have any trouble shifting mine privately (supply and demand) and what would you realistically think of asking/getting?

This look great!

So, this car with 18 months mfr warranty left, from a skoda dealer, or a passat cc 3.6 2009 with 9.5k miles via a private sale. Same money...?

That's a shame, although it's still up on the Skoda uk site as per link above, it actually sold within 24 hours so is gone!
