Any problems with the fit of the boot liner or the simply clever pack combined with the variable floor?

Yes!! - it is a little short of Simply Clever !!!

Without the Variable Floor - the Plastic Hoop ("Flexible Storage Compartment") doesn't lock into the slots in the wheel arches properly. The Boot liner pushes it up just a smidge too much. That would have been solved by putting the slots in the wheel arch up a ... well, a smidge!

And as for the Variable Boot Floor - well, that knocks the heck out of the Simply Clever !  That would need a whole new set of slots to make the hoop work! With or without the Rubber Mat/Liner !!

The Rubber mat is more important to me - so I just have the Horizontal Net on the regular floor and the vertical nets running up the two sides.

The Variable Floor and the Hoop is consigned to the Garden Shed !

I take it you've discovered the same problem?

Hi Dithane what are you carrying in the back Poteen   :D  Joe

I haven't ordered yet but am looking at the estate. I want the rubber liner for hiking boots etc. and was thinking whether it fits with and without the raised floor, since it looks to be snug with its raised edges.

Also looked to me like the plastic loop and nets would be affected by the liner/floor as you have confirmed.

Yep - the rubber liner works good with both standard and variable floors. Shape and size is the same (or very very close!)

The horizontal net could go still in the space between variable and regular floor - perfect for putting poteen bottles out of sight - and not have them rolling around :D. Or smelly hiking boots!

ignore this. I got lost.. Haha :D

Yep - that's what the Poteen does, man  !!!

Yeah noticed that about the variable floor when I saw the mounting point. We don't get it in Aus though. Rubber lining was a ripoff here - AUD180 - so I bought some rubber matting from the hardware store and trimmed it to fit including a notch for the under floor/spare wheel
