Boot Floor/liner removal

Featured Replies

Hi - my husband has a Mk II Fabia (I have a nice shiny Mk III!!) and to make him feel better about it I was trying help him remove all the dog hairs from the boot. Is it possible to remove the liner (the bit that lifts up to get to the spare wheel. It seems to go under the seats but when I flip the seats forward it is not obvious how to do it. Surely it must be possibly. I used to have a beautiful Superb - but too big for tiny Cornish roads and that had a liner that you could just pull out, it was wonderful --- aaah, happy days... Any help would be appreciated..

Thank you...

You have to remove the seats completely to remove it I'm afraid.

in the past I've just put a Stanley blade down the middle of each join and slide it out.

Get one of those sticky JML rollers. They work a treat if you keep washing them during use.Under a tenner, worth a hundred!  Also, you can buy a rubber boot liner too. Proper Skoda ones fit well, are quite tough and can often be spotted on that well known action site. I paid 99p for one, the postage being around a fiver! No one else bidded so I got lucky!

thank for responses - I'm a bit scared about actually cutting it and equally removing the seats, so will get a JML roller alongside a boot liner. Many thanks again.
