Stuck cd

Help !!

My head unit won't eject the cd contained within.

It come up with cd error.

It plays but won't eject.

Is there a manual eject hole or mechanism?

sometimes holding the eject button down for a prolonged period will get it out... but there is a chance you will need to put something thin in to lever it up a tad.. shine a torch in and see whats happening when you try to eject

Or a pair of credit cards or similar. They should grasp it and then the release mechanism should do its stuff.

Don't go with the paper clip, you'll probably end up taking the whole thing apart when it drops inside, not to mention it could also cause an internal short circuit if it does.

I am guessing the CD is slightly warped, so its catching on something when eject is pressed.
