Eddie, I saw in a post about retro-fitting this to a pre-FL (07/57) that you mentioned a loom? I'd quite like this upgrade but don't have the time/inclination/patience to start cutting and soldering wires. If there was a 'plug&play' option however...

I can make a loom a semi-plug and play loom for an aditional £25

It requires moving pins form the plugs (fairly easy) and inserting them in other plugs (instructions provided)

Eddie, did the loom you mention get over the problem with the Recirc?? I have an 07 with 2 motors not one and apparently this was an issue so I sold the one i had.. but could be tempted again if you have figured out a way to make it work

The loom will wire the two motors in parallel

It can be fitted without doing anything - but there will be a few issues, namely it won't remember the last setting when the ignition is switch off and the the car will mist up if the recirculation flap button is pressed.

To overcome the issues some wiring needs to be changed which will allow it to work almost as it should.

Changing the twin flap to a single flap and installing an Air quality sensor would make it work like in a facelift

So I take it the f/L has a single flap rather than a twin flap would it be costly to convert

I know with VW some late 2007 - 2009 cars have a single flap, although not a 100% sure if it is the same with skoda.

You probably could pick up the single flap cheap enough from a breakers, but would a few hours work to change it.

some people have wired both flaps in parallel

PM sent.
