I want to change my cd player from my existing 1 din melody cd player like this.

Is it possible? Does the old canbus system understand the new cd player? 

I think there is enough space in my dashboard for it. But my question is if the player will work in my car?

This should be possible - you'd be looking at a new radio fascia to complete the install.
