Facelift vrs wheels, 19"?

Featured Replies

Anybody got a facelift 1z Octavia vrs and put 19" wheels on it? And got pics? I'm worried they'll look too big but 18" will mean I'll have to go too low to remove arch gap? Anyone help/advise?

Mines a pre fl & im running 19s & a big helping of lowering with coilovers.

Do you know if I'll be ok running 10j wheels on the back without scrubbing?

Mine are 9s all round, I think with 10s it would be a case of trial n error, making sure you've got the the right off set & right tyre size. Cheers for the previous comment.

If the 18" wheels and the 19" wheels are both fitted with the correct size tyres then the overall tyre/wheel diameter, and hence the arch gap, will be the same.

Have you already got the wheels? What are they?

No I ain't got them yet, was looking at 3sdm 0.04 as some come up for sale but the rears are 10j with 215/35/19 fitted, just checked on google as find a site that calculates how wheels will fit n all that, and it said they'll stick out a further 48mm than the oem wheels and about 10mm closer to inner damper. So I think they'll look too wide and scrub
