Nextbase Hardwire Kit

Featured Replies

After 12 months of plugging my dash cam in to my cigarette holder i want to hard wire it . I've come across the Nextbase Hardwire kit, has anyone done this and which fuse shall I use ?

Thanks

I used it on my Fabia 2 2013 vRS. I piggy backed using the smaller piggy back fuse. I used a second row fuse, which by sheer luck, first go, was permanently live, which is what I wanted.I have had no issues at all since install three weeks and a few thousand miles back now.

Got the kit, where do you earth it ?

Got the kit, where do you earth it ?

I earthed mine on the metal frame holding the dashboard on, under the cover on The right of the dash. The one you can only see when you open the door.

on the roomster i earthed to the main bolt inside the fusebox

and took a piggyback feed from the rear wiper

no issues so far
