Skoda fabia mk2 projector headlights

Featured Replies

Hi there I'm new to this. I have projector headlights on my fabia mk2. They are poor to say the least. I'm thinking of doing a HID conversion is this a easy thing to do.

It worth doing the hid conversion

Yes, very straightforward process.

Best thing I've bought so far were the HID's!

Went for a 4300k 35w kit from HID's direct and they've been in nearly a year with no issues!

Theres soo many threads about this now :D

Spoken quite openly with several MOT testers about the matter. Basically if they are fitted properly and correctly aimed/adjusted you won't have any problems.

The confusion comes from badly worded sections regarding HIDs in the MOT handbook, requiring headlamp washers and auto height adjustment is only relevant if that car was supposed to have those systems as standard.

A car that left the factory without HIDs does not require washers and levelling.

That's good news then. I will definitely get some then as the lights at the minute are useless

Only because i know its usually me and you answering all the bulb/hid questions haha.

But i cba tbh. If you search 'hid fabia 2' or something similar, about 15 million Briskoda threads come up that would answer everybodys questions on the matter :D.
