I got a sample a while back and had seen decent reviews.

When it came to use it..... it wasnt a nice product.

Hard to laod on the applicator, hard to spread (very grabby)

Not the worst to buff off in the end..... but i had lost interest by then!

 

So i hope you have a better experience or Michael C have improved the blend....

I've also heard it can be quite hard work and very greasy so we shall see when it arrives. On a more positive note their rapid detailer very good

Agreed - i have a sample of the early RDS blend and it was a doddle to use.

I believe they have re-blended it since though....

The Carpro Essence - is it a light finishing polish of some sort? I've seen a lot of reputable detailers talk about it and been quite impressed!

It depends what pad you use it with but it has semi permanent fillers in there as well as cutting and adds basically a layer of Si02 protection/coating. Very intrigued to what it can do.

My paint isn't great as I've never really corrected it so will be a good test to see what it can do!

Something I've not seen before or even bothered looking at! One I'm going to keep in mind anyhow!

Cheers, thought I would treat myself. Liking the essence, very easy on and off. Difficult to see on silver and in bright sunlight but had no troubles and really does leave a lovely gloss.

Car was pretty good condition havinb been corrected about 18months ago. I hit it it with a white hex logic pad.

Car now half in garage due to rain. Will wait an hour for CQUK to cure and had reload then it can sit outside.

Great results Steve.... hard to go wrong with CarPro stuff generally;

plus Craig Hall is normally really helpful with advice or help on any issues.
