Lose driver seat on my fabia Vrs

Featured Replies

Morning all hope you are well! Ok my drivers side seat rocks back and forth most noticeable on take off to second gear, I have rocked it back and forth today as it now doing my nut, the runners are bolted to the chassis solid so its lose some where between the runner and the fixture, does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks

Lee

Just take the four big spline bolts out and lift the seat out the car and turn on its side to inspect it. Takes 5 minutes.

Ok cheers stu will have a look in the better weather!

Mine does this slightly, on mine it is the bolt which rotates when the seat is raised/lowered with the lever. If you raise it up does the magnitude of rocking reduce?

Thanks for the head up ill try tomoz and report back!

Seat in my old fabia used to do this think it was play in the height mech couldn't see a way of fixing it without getting a seat that wasn't faulty. Not saying it can't be fixed just I couldn't see how but I was going to swap the base again as I'd already swapped them for octy seats but that never happened as it was written off before I got round to getting a replacement
