Skoda Octavia 1968cc Turbo Diesel 140BHP Hatchback, Six Speed Manual

2005 05 registration. Was originally registered new by Skoda then bought by my father at one year old from the main dealer and it has been in the family ever since. I have owned it for the last four years and it has been a fabulous family car.

The low mileage of 64,500 is genuine and substantiated by a sheaf of service history including the all important cambelt and water pump. Among the bills and receipts for other work, oil and filter changes were carried out at the following intervals.

First service carried out at PDI by Bickerton Skoda Sheffield August 2006
16,922 miles August 2007 (Skoda dealer)
21,026 miles August 2008 (Skoda dealer)
24,485 miles August 2009 (Skoda dealer)
28,867 miles August 2010 (Skoda dealer)
33,017 miles July 2011 (Skoda dealer)
40,244 miles July 2012
47,437 miles July 2013
54,762 miles August 2014
62,600 miles July 2015 so the car was last serviced three months and 1,900 miles ago.

MOT until 25th August 2016. The only advisories at the last MOT were front tyres, which were promptly replaced so are still like new. The rear tyres also have plenty of tread remaining.

The front brake pads and discs were changed at 62,600 miles three months ago and I also changed the lower wishbone balljoints, stripped and cleaned the front calipers and renewed the brake fluid at the same time.
The battery was replaced in 2013 and is still under warranty until December 2016.
The throttle air intake valve was changed last month at a cost of £162 and a further £120 on recoding the EGR valve at a specialist engine management electronics company.

Fitted with the later 2 litre 140bhp BKD engine which gives very satisfying performance, superb torque and tremendous fuel economy. I average 45mpg in mainly short rush hour commutes and comfortably 60mpg driven sensibly on a longer journey thanks to the smooth six speed gearbox.

Comes with the following specification:-

Factory fitted upgrade 17 inch Pegasus alloy wheels, one of which was refurbished last week, the other three are in excellent condition.
Original Skoda mudflaps
CD changer
Dual climate control (air conditioning re-gassed summer 2015)
Front and rear colour coded  parking sensors with audible and visual proximity indicator display on stereo screen
Electric windows front and rear
Heated electric mirrors with integrated indicators and puddle lights
Professionally fitted Brink removable locking towbar and twin electrics
Dual trip computer
Six speed gearbox
Front fog lamps
Upgraded headlamp bulbs
Cruise control
Tailored mats

Just had a professional interior valet this week. There is no sagging or wear on the drivers seat as you would expect given the low mileage. The exterior shows only a few marks here and there but not very many for a ten year old vehicle.

As you can see, the car has been fastidiously maintained and wanted for nothing. The only reason I'm selling it is that I've bought a four wheel drive as a toy for the winter and since my wife now has a bigger car we just don't need three family cars.

Thank you for looking. Cash on collection or bank transfer prior to collection please

Asking £3,295 ono, feel free to make me an offer. Prefer first contact by e-mail [email protected] or text 07940 725134 as I often can't take calls at work. Car is in Sheffield S13, five minutes from M1 J33, ten minutes from Meadowhall.
