Changing seats in rapid?

Featured Replies

I've a 2015 skoda rapid space back se sport dsg

I've been looking at changing the seats to a set of leather ones, does any of you know what other car seats will fit in the rapid? I'm struggling to find any info about it at all and haven't been about to find any rapid leather seats for sale

I'v looked for some vw polo seats (highline leather) but te rails or bolds are not the same...

Maybe inform for some fabia seats and keep us posted... :-)

Basically can use anything as long as you keep the Rapid subframe. Obviously a bit modding to do.

I've seen a set of 2012 a6 leather, I'm hoping they r the same size, pain in the arse looking for info online for this tho

How about getting the standard seats lined in Nappa leather like what bossfox did on his yeti?

I also looked into this when I first got my Rapid.

There's a company called JC Seat Covers that do custom fitted covers. They're about £400 from memory and they have the Rapid (although I think it's non-sport versions). They have various levels of product and when I enquired they did the top of the range one only (which is padded and diamond stitched etc.)

The ones I went with were Car Seat Covers Ltd (or SB Covers) who also do the custom fitted covers but the ones I got were part leather. They look great, I'll try find some pictures from my old Rapid. I took them off when I got my Sport but I haven't got around to fitting them. The front's won't fit now but they say they can do the sport seats in full leather for about £135 or so but I'm going to try and adapt my old ones first before doing this.

Goodness me at £400 you could probably pick up a full set of heated Audi leather seats and squeeze them into the rapid!!!!!

Look at a retrim in leather first, quoted £670 for it but they r too busy this side of Xmas.

I'd prefer to buy a full set of leather seats so I could remove them n sell on when I'm done with the rapid in a year or so. But dnt no which cars will have leather that will be an easy install.

Completely even with seat covers you will still have the seats that have been designed for a small town car (Polo). They aren't comfy on long journeys at all!!!

Any of you know if the Audi A3 seats will be a straight fit in the rapid?
