New Fabia VRS owner from Newcastle

Hey all,

Finally back on the VAG scene after making a few stupid decisions and suffice to say, after picking this little beauty up last night, it makes up for the other decisions  :p

Amazing ASZ engine that fly's like poo off a stick, only a few minor niggles, namely being the brakes  :sweat:

When test driving the car, they weren't fantastic but put it down to sitting on the forecourt for a short while. Noticed that they're not really improving much and the way the car picks up speed, they're going to be needed at some point soon I'm sure  :p

Hopefully they will improve otherwise I'll soon be shelling out for the 312mm upgrade.

Got a few plans for it, however giving it a little while first:

* 312mm Brakes

* Cupra Splitter

* Black smoke remap

* Do something with the radio (i.e. car kit with bluetooth, or new headunit with bluetooth/usb)

My old Bora had full FIS clocks, which I'd love to fit the Fabia version, however not seen many of them around:

Anyone know of any suggestions?

Anyone know of any suggestions?

yep, get a RARB. Preferably a Jabba one.

Maxidot in a Fabia is a rare thing and the clocks are very pricey, even 2nd hand but they do crop up,,,,,,,,,,,,, never.

There's a list of known Fabias with Maxidot on here and it doesn't even run to twenty IIRC.
