Damp passenger footwells

Featured Replies

I'm having terrible problems with my passenger driver side rear footwell I've sealed around the aluminium door casing but still very wet in the well is there a drainage hole that gets blocked as I can't find one. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this as it is driving my wife mad waiting to de mist the inside of the car and when it is cold scraping the ice off the inside

Did you seal the front carriers as well? Water also can get in past those and run to the back.

Another thing to check is the joint in the rear windscreen washer tube behind the wheel arch trim on the passenger side rear. The connectors can pop off causing washer fluid to saturate the floor.
