Vrs judder

Featured Replies

This is a little hard to explain but my 2011 vrs has developed a little judder and hesitation under acceleration in all 7 gears! But if I have it I'm manual I don't get the hesitation or judder. Any one got any ideas?

Are you sure you are not experiencing a slight misfire under load? sorry just noticed that this does not happen in manual!

Did your car need or get the DSG Service Campaign Work done.

When the new Engine went in or since.

Synthetic Changed to Mineral and Software Update on the DSG not the Engine.

Maybe new Clutch Pack time, but there is the Possibility of the Mechatronics Control Unit playing up,

a few are recently.

*Time to chase up Skoda UK again on the DSG even though out of Original Warranty,

they are needing to start taking more responsibility on the Builds, and Updates or no updates

where they said 'None was Required'...*

A Dealership Service Desk gave me a load of guff on the DSG just this week,

then the pillock printed out the complete & current TPI on the DQ200;

Maybe they should start reading it a bit and following it.)

I CAN POST YOU COPIES OF IT IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES GETTING SKODA UK TO
DO THE RIGHT THING.  PM ME IF I CAN HELP.

Are the Plugs in now all OK,

Have you gone with different plugs from the OME NGK's?

Ye it's had the DSG recall done on it. Ye the plugs are all fine, but goin to check them tomoz again if the weather is all good. It's got the uprated NGKs in it. Iv only done 6,500 miles on the new engine and it's not used a single drop of oil.

The latest plugs used gap is done at 0.7mm,

If you have any magic running with your ECU, i would 'whip them out'  see how they are,

then maybe get the DENSO plugs in, but at 0.6 mm not the gap they come with.

(I still have them at 0.8mm though.)

Ok thanks for the advice. I'm hoping it's something simple and not the gearbox it's self.

The plugs are all ok. So this maybe a trip to the stealers. It only does it between 1k and 3k and in every gear. As if it's the supercharger.

My car has been to the dealers and is down to a loose wire in the wiring loom lol.
