Skoda Octavia MKII VRS - SOLD

Featured Replies

Hello!

After nearly five year (in Jan) I am selling my beloved vrs.

The car is in very good condition, it has none of the usual issues that can occur with the Octavia's- no lacquer peel anywhere, airconditioning compressor is good.

It has full service history and the car has just had a major service with new calipers/disc's and pads on the rear, I have also just MOT'd it and it passed without any advisorys.

A new clutch and flywheel was fitted at 80K (I thought I felt it slip so replaced it) new thermostate early this year and I preempted the cam-follower and PVC failure by replacing the follower and also fitting a BSH oil catch can and PVC blank.

Also had a bosch s5 battery last year, so still three plus year warrenty on it.

The aircon was re-oiled and gased this year.

The car is running a Shark performance stage 1 remap with a STS (self tuning system) which means the map can removed/changed whenever you like. I have had this on the car for 3.5 years and can say it was/is worth every penny, the car is very smooth and on the rolling road made 252bhp and 315 lbs/ft of torque

Other modifications include-

Whiteline RARB.

S3 console bushes.

Superskoda lower front grill, colour coded.

Window tints from B pilar back.

forge short shifter.

The leather suede on the front seats started to bobble so I replaced them both with FL ones, the seats are in excellent condition.

The gearknob was starting to look worn so I also replace that and the gatier with new FL ones.

I wash the car weekly and clay/seal and wax every month or so, the paintwork has real depth but has a few stone chips on the front and a couple of small parking dents (thanks to next door) on the nearside passenger front door.

The alloys were refurbed last year and have no kurbing etc and also there is a fith zeith as a spare.

Four good and vredestein ultrac sessanta tyres with plenty (5mm plus of tread all round).

The disc's are 40% worn on the front and brand new on the rear.

Everything works on the car!

I will try and include as much information as possible but if I've missed anything please ask

I really take pride in my cars and this one has been amazing and looks the same, its only getting sold as I've just purchased a FL off Brisk :)

Reckon you'll sell it fast fella. Plenty of car for not a lot! I know how well you look after your cars, better than you look after the mrs!
