Just bought an 06 vRS Estate to replace our 1.6FSI. Apparently rear bush on front control arms is worn (and missus has said it's creaky now too) so thinking of doing the lot in one go. Was going to go down the S3 route having read various posts on the forum. Can't find any used S3/Cupra arms on eBay and new ones seem to come with bushes already fitted, I want to go down the Superpro route I think... I've just found this complete kit on the AwesomeGti site which seems to kill all birds with one stone. It's not cheap but from preliminary research I think I'll struggle to do it for less, for buying new arms, all the bushes and ALK separately... Any thoughts/comments on the price or kit vs used/buying the bits new separately, the AwesomeGti kit certainly seems convenient as I can just bolt it on and then get it aligned...

That isn't a proper SuperPro kit.  They are Passat arms with add-ons.  I'm pretty sure you can get new passat arms for a lot cheaper than GBP195.  (probably more like GBP130 for an aftermarket pattern replacement)

 

Assuming you want all SuperPro add-ons, it comes to GBP405 from aawesome GTI.

 

Here's the genuine SuperPro Supaloy part.  They aren't just Passat arms that have been polished.  It's GBP330 posted.  I'm not sure what taxes you'll have to pay to bring it in to the UK.  Even UK sourced they are GBP400.

Yeah I appreciate the arms themselves are not Superpro, just the bushes/ball joints, didn't realise they were Passat ones though, was hoping they'd be the equivalent of Cupra/S3 arms, which would have been an adequate compromise... Bit stumped to know what to do, Superpro genuine arms plus ball joints would give me same (but better, due proper genuine Superpro alloy arms) as awesome GTi kit I think, guess it depends on how much the import will cost or find a uk supplier - they don't seem to be hugely available from UK sellers from what I can see...

After some serious googling, have found full kit KIT5001K which to me looks like arms, bushes, ALK and ball joints for £518 delivered from UK seller, best price I could find vs Amazon/EBay.

Full kit which is ARMS inc ALK + BALLJOINTS is £539 on Amazon, so £518 for the lot is not bad
