TSW Alloys

Featured Replies

Has anyone owned a set of tsw alloys. What is the quality like? Does the laquer come off at all?

I had a set fitted to a 5 series BMW a couple of years ago, when i took 1 off to get to the brakes i noticed that the inside of the rim was bent (all over) - i then took alll the others off to check them and found all were bent (ok on outside where you can see), i don't know if this was because the car was heavy (although this shouldn't matter) or if the previous owner drove over speed bumps too fast?

I went to a local refurb place to be told the TSW wheels are made from a soft alloy and wouldn't straighten - i ended up getting a new set of alloys instead.

his was a few years ago so maybe TSW wheels have improved?

old tsw alloys like alpines etc where made out of chocolate lol

The first set of alloys I bought for a car were TSW Razors. I thought the finish on them was a bit naff- brake dust stained too easily...No bending or dints, but they had 195/50 tyres and were fitted to a light Punto.

Stick to the ones with polished finishes ;)

I remember the old style tsws were pretty poor quality and im just a bit skeptical of them still. Im looking at these

I want the wheels in 17x7. Give you a clue the car weighs 940kg.

Im afraid the RS is sadly gone and missed.

Sorry i dont have a Danny LaRue, light though  .

The RS looks bad ,you done well to walk away from it. Ive just fitted some Kei Kruze black rims to my RS ,17x7 must admit with 205/40/17 tyres they look a little small.

Dropped the coilovers a little but the i cant lower it anymore/enough because of my garage, still i only got them to release the originals for trackdays.

So what is it?

Steve

Day Tripper,

Your car looks familiar. Was your car bent on Windermere Road junction Wood Street, Middleton? Looks a bit like Billington Bros Yard in the picture.
