I have just noticed my standard air con heater (non duel zone) blows the wrong way round it blows on windscreen in foot mode ,and blows on feet in windscreen mode any help appreciated confused. 

Has it always been like this? It's possible the centre console has been removed and the cable clipped in the wrong way round.

Mines similar to this but all blows the correct way except when pointing to windscreen it also blows into the passenger footwell, i have previously changed dashboard so not sure if its something ive knocked, but if it was id of assumed it would just be blowing in both footwells and not just the one

yes its always been like it i only bought the car in april so havent really used the blower much then when it got cold recently i realized the screen wasnt clearing but my feet were hot ,i will take it apart when i get a chance and inspect the cable location.

I did the exact same when I took the heater panel off my brother in law's Passat.

 

The panel should unscrew, and the cable that links the knob to the flaps rotated back round.
