Hazard Light Issue- Electrical?

Featured Replies

So the VRS failed the MOT today... On only the hazard lights.

When the switch is pressed, only the drivers side lights flash.

All indicators work so it's not a bulb, and I've tried replacing the switch itself which hasn't cured it.

None of the passenger side illuminates at all!

Any ideas?

Yeah the switch contains the relay and they fail. Mine ticks at random, doesnt flash the lights...

It's sorted now! Took the switch out again and a wire had popped loose from the connector! And it failed the MOT just for that! Thank goodness for free re test!

I served some of my time in Skoda as a mechanic in 2003-2004 i can remember replacing hazard switches and indicator stocks just about every fekn day lol not heard of much probs with them recently tho so they may have changed the design of them internaly
