Ok so been trying to get VCDS lite to work but keep getting interface not found... does this mean the cable is duff or something isn't installed properly??

 

Which cable do people buy for use with the mk1 fabia mines a 2006 BLT

Have you selected the correct COM port in VCDS settings (mine is COM4) and did the USB > Serial chipset driver install correctly when you plugged the cable in?

Faboka has done a guide of how to use these on his tuning site, I just can't remember the name of it at the minute.

Edit - remembered it , cant see the guide at the min but know it was a pdf I could download, can't see on mobile though.

No the drivers alway fail, that's why I'm thinking the cable is a duff one

Also, why does the dude in your sig have his hand down the front of his trousers while gazing longingly at a Fabia and talking on the phone, I think we should be told
