Hi, I've recently purchased a 14 plate VRS from a Skoda dealers and unfortunately im yet to receive the owners manual and service book.  In the mean time I'm trying to work out all the functions the 'mans' way but could do with a bit of assistance.  Could anybody please help me to identify the model number/name of the unit....Pic below.... Also is there any firmware upgrades I should know about for the unit?  The car is pretty well equipped and I was surprised it was never spec'd with sat nav unless Im missing something..... :-/

WOW, thanks for the quick answer Tim!  Its seems crazy that such a nice little unit doesn't come with Nav. The features on it are pretty impressive.  Im guessing the 'Admunson' wouldn't just be a plug and play though.  Its never that simple eh!  For the small amount of use I usually get out of sat nav these days I guess my phone google maps will have to do!

No problem, yes you can for the sat Nav version I am no expert but think it would need coding off one of the nice people with VCDS on here.

I agree I have the sat Nav version and I rarely use it to be honest.

    Not sure to be honest mate. I'm sure someone has retrofitted them. I know some of the MK2 lads fitted the Columbus version with no issues.

    You can by a nav upgrade for the Bolero for about £499 from Skoda dealers also on Ebay.

    Search for Skoda MIB navigation upgrade
