Two things seem to be amiss with my vrs atm.

When revving and lifting off at around 4-6k the revs continue to increase slight after I've come off the pedal.

Also on coming down they seem to hang at 1.5k for a split second be for return to idle.

The video should show what I mean.

I have been having the p0440 fault and have had a new pcv? Thing and HPFP recently.

Are these related?

Sticky accelerator pedal?

It wouldn't hover the revs at 1.5 every time if it was just a stick pedal

I'm getting this with my fabia and being told likely the clutch switch is at fault (so it's not seeing clutch dipped quick enough) - I've yet to prove this in my case.

I've had the same for the 3 years that I have owned the car,it is irritating but as it's only its only noticeable when changing gear quickly Ive just learnt to live with it.I would change the switch on the clutch pedal if I knew where to find it.
