I've just looked at their website as I was wondering if they scratched the wheels at all.  They say that they help reduce scratches so does that mean that they do mark the wheels?

Ive used them a lot Andrew and never seen any scratches...let alone inficted any..God forbid!!

Every time you was a car, you scratch it. It's inevitable. You can minimise this by pre-washes and pressure washing before you touch the car, but at the end of the day, as you rub your mitt/wheel wooly across the surface, you will cause tiny imperfections. These mount up over time, even when utilising the 2 bucket method. That's what they're getting at. By providing the dirt with a place to go within the fibres, it minimises/reduces the scratches, but cannot eradicate them. Hope this clears it up a little buddy.
