2012 MKII Octavia vRS Race Blue Metalic *Pics added*

Featured Replies

Good day folks,

It has been many years since I've sold privately so if I need to edit and add please let me know...

Earlier in the summer my wife and I split, I kept the car but cannot justify holding onto it. It has been a great car to own and drive, but its a waste if not being driven, so I would very much like this to go to a fellow enthusiast to carry on many years of motoring.

Summary of details:

Registered / MOT due: 01 March 2012 / 01 March 2016

Tax: Should be £145 per year, I pay roughly £12.68 per month

Fuel: Diesel

Power: 170bhp

Mileage: 49,xxx (I think its 49,750 odd) Not going up at the moment due to having another car, I will not let it go over the 50k mark before sale. Mileage mostly made up of journeys from Kent to Glasgow for my in-laws,

FSH: Main dealer, with 1x MOT and 1x Service paid / in credit at my local Skoda dealership in Ashford, Kent. Transferable with the car, not tied to me.

Bristo Skoda: 7,605

Caffyns Skoda Ashford: 17,538

Caffyns Skoda Ashford: 29,225

Caffyns Skoda Ashford: 43,835 (Might have overshot a touch)

Next Service at 53,835 in credit with Ashford Skoda

Car was purchased ex-demo from a Skoda dealers in Ipswich, and owed by myself since.

Condition:

The car is in good condition, if I were able I'd spend some money having it detailed to bring out a real deep shine.

Tyres are end of life but legal, I am debating to replace them pre-sale but i'm hesitating as everyone has their own opinion on brand etc hence ono.

Two alloys have some scuff marks, I will try and add pictures but have lost the light at time of posting this.

Grille replaced due to breaking two of the fins! Badge on order at present.

Couple of minor marks on the lighter fabrics but nothing a good valet won't lift

Warranty work carried out:

Air Con Compressor and/or coupling replaced under warranty - Known Skoda issue with corrosion on a connection, this was carried out just before March 2015 so aircon is fully working and cold.

Handbrake cover which slides up and down with the handbrake in the centre console replaced due to getting stiff (Dealer noticed and offered to my surprise)

Availability and test drives:

The car is available at time of writing, proof insurance to test drive required, else I will drive the car. Car fully Taxed and insured at present.

Price:

Having looked about, I am throwing her up for £9,500 ono. I'm not really in a rush to sell, the Subaru is my daily for now.

Contact:

Private Message or 07475 133857 - signal is very poor/non-existent in the cottage, please don't leave voicemail's as I don't usually listen to them for days, please txt and I'll call you back.

Cheers
