Anyone fitted the black front grille surround on a Fabia III? How difficult is it?

Yes I did it - but not by myself as it requires bumper to be dismantled (at least this is what I was told by the dealer).

Done! Required removal of both headlamps but not the bumper. Bottom clips proved quite tricky but thankfully did not break.

Where did you buy the grille from if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to do the same to my car.

Jeepers ... looks like a lot of plastic mouldings in there -- how does this stuff get 5 star NCAP ? 

 

Hope they haven't got a "defeat device" for that as well !!!

This is a Mk2's crash protection, but just the same.  Does the job at low speeds at least, but all still needs replaced usually, even from a low speed collision.
