so wanting to solder in new smd bulbs for my Fabia's dash cluster

does anyone know what SMD chips i'll need for my dash e.g 0603 smd, 5050 smd etc?

it's a mk1

No probs. I hope you're good at soldering. The SMDs are tiny!

They're not too hard if you've soldered before, just gets annoying with how small they are.

Just had this done on my fabia by a bloke in Essex. Not too hard tbh, just seems really fiddly. Ill post pics up once im on the laptop :-)

Is it only the main dash cluster you're doing? Some of the other switches use 3mm LEDs too

doing the switches too, have ordered some 3mm leds 

The asr and heated window switch will most likely need a resistor too

mine has neither being a Classic :D
