collapsing hose

Featured Replies

ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS PIPE IS CALLED /PART NUMBER  ? 2.0 TDI 4X4 ESTATE 2008

Problem i have is lack of power sometimes with warning light, sometimes without, drops into snail mode for a while and then suddenly picks up, no fault codes most of time, only thing i can see is this hose situated to left of radiator as you look at engine bay, hose has metal conector just under censor, and jubilee clip to hard pipe joining EGR, THIS HOSE IS SOFT AND APPEARS TO BE COLLAPSING, it also has metal support rings.

tried internet for this hose/pipe to no avail

thanks for any help in advance

Before replacing anything I would get a scan done with VCDS for the fault codes.

As that is part of your boost piping it won't be collapsing as it will be under pressure from the compressed air being forced through it from the turbo.

More likely the EGR sticking but get the fault codes read

is that a rip?
