I'm looking for a good quality snow foam lance and snow foam, these don't have to be from the same place but would help a lot if they were. It's an idea I had for the F-I-L, for xmas. I have heard you get foams that work without sponging but if the best ones still need the sponge/Mit that's not a problem. Any hints, tips from anyone in know on here is much appreciated.

Peter.

Autobrite hd foam lance would be my recommendation, as for actual snow foams the choice is mind boggling I personally like autobrite magi-foam and obsession wax blizzard.

What ever you go for the instructions are pretty much the same, cover the car in foam leave for 5-10min pressure wash off then do the contact wash with bucket and mitt job done :-)

I've bought Chris' recommendation for my dad for Xmas.

Snow foam wise, Bilt Hamber Autofoam is the best cleaner I have used. Currently using Angelwax Fast Foam which is on a par. They all require a wash after a foam with a mitt unfortunately.

HTH mate.

I wouldn't opt for magi foam if I were you. There seems to be better out there from a cleaning perspective.

Foam recommendations that I use....Take your pick

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam...Very effective cleaning power

ValetPro pH Neutral Snow Foam...Effective and fairly cheap

Power Maxed Snow Foam. ...Good cleaner and very cheap

Car Chem Snow Foam...Cheapish and quite good

KKD Blizzard Snow Foam...On par with Bilt Hamber but more expensive...My review > http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/372763-chriss-car-cleaningdetailing-product-review-thread/#entry4458341

AutoBrite MagiFoam..Lots of foam, not great cleaning power in this company

Cheers guys, will put this to the wife. To top it all off, wife got a phone call today from her mum, some lovely person has scraped the front corner of her dads car today. To say he is gutted is an understatement, this is his first ever new car, it was a retirement gift to himself.
