vrs octavia 61 plate

Any info on vcds? Drl lights go dim but a would like these bright as skoda ha e done away with sidelights in the headlights...

One owner has said it can be done yet am eating a lot online saying that it can't be done?

The vRS doesn't need sidelights as the LED DRL are dual use, this is why the dim to an acceptable level when used as sidelights rather than DRL.

When do you want them to be brighter? When the sidelights are on or with the headlights?

I don't know if VCDS can change this but I'm sure the dealer tools can.

I can't be done using coding via VCDS or otherwise. The brightness can only be changed for DRL mode.

It can be done by spending a lot of time modifying the wiring and using a variable voltage constant current driver, but that is a lot of hassle for brighter lights.
