Ice scraper and petrol cover

Featured Replies

Had to use the ice scraper for the first time today (not very impressed) Went to get it out of its holder but the petrol cover door was partially frozen managed to get it open ok When I looked water had collected at the bottom of the inner surface which had then frozen to the cover. Will try some silicon spray on both surfaces and the locking mechanism Joe

Sorry about the double post

Thanks Joe, that's a good tip. I laugh every time I test that the petrol flap is closed (as it says in the manual) by pressing it, which makes it spring open again (unless it's frozen).
