Powerflex bushes

Featured Replies

Anybody fitted these type of bushes to any part of the car?

I fitted some to my Lotus loads of years ago and found them amazing, what do they do for the vRS mk2?

Always a good option in my opinion, tightens everything up and improves the handling and feel of the car.

I have the Powerflex dogbone mount fitted, immediately made gear-changes less jerky and the drive more progressive.

I will be fitting the anti lift bushes next, they are are meant to make a hell of a difference :-)

Dog bone bushes?

Where and which are those?

I used this guide, very easy to do at home with the car jacked up...paid £25 odd off ebay for the part and can highly recommend it

Thanks chaps.

I think I'll go along the Powerflex road with steering and suspension modifications shortly, as mine have done 40K.

We've had great success with Superpro. Excellent products without the need to choose the shore rating as they are developed to provide the correct stability as required.

Any links to the right bushes :)

This is the Powerflex link for all Octavia 1Z bushes, My mate has Superpro on his Leon and can highly rate it too,I've just always used Powerflex myself so am sticking with what I know.

I have seen a handling pack on ebay for under £200- which I may well have to purchase!

post-6124-0-12594800-1450203325_thumb.jpgThe way I see it is;

Front Wishbone Bush (front) PFF85-505 (2 required) £20.52 each

Front Wishbone Bush (rear) PFF85-502 (2 required) £26.57 each

Lower Engine mount insert (large) PFF85-704 £21.45.

Front Engine mount dog bone bush PFF85-505 £19.75.

Rear tie bar chassis front bush PFR85-508 £18.43. Not sure if this is required or if 2 are needed.

This little lot works out at £172.24.

That is direct from Powerflex and cheaper than the Ebay item.

Euro car parts are one of their official suppliers.

It is true, and currently being worked on.

We have a few options on front wishbone bushes depending on budget and how far you want to go with setups.

1. Replacement bushes only

2. Wishbone bushes in alloy brackets with preset castor and Anti-lift

3. Complete wishbone kits in which we have sold many of late. Front ALLOY wishbones, inner bushes, rear bushes in brackets and supalloy ball joints.

Sounds impressive AP A.

2&3 are not what I require but if someone wants "the full Monty", you've certainly got it covered.

When you say "replacement bushes only", can I ask which bushes?
