Sump Guard - Metal

Featured Replies

Yet again another bust sump. 2nd it 2 years. The plastic under tray is good whilst it lasts, but its not very robust to say the least.

I have found metal sump guard in CZ but it is priced at £170 + postage.

Has anyone made one or even better got drawings for one? I sure our local metal fabrication shop would cut to a plan.
Many thanks,

You can get a shortened sump with a steel bottom, sure Darkside sell them?

We had a run of these made up, many many years ago. 2005/06 time if I recall.

Will see if I can pull up some info.

I seen a metal sump gaurd to replace the plastic one on ebay about 2 days ago.

You can also get a protector thing, like a plastic cover that goes over the sump, comes standard on some mk4 golfs im sure.

These are the ones we had made up....
