I have recently purchased a Scout on an '11 plate and would be grateful if anyone can advise the most cost effective way of getting the phone function to work with bluetooth- at the moment when the phone function is activated all it does is to mute the radio. Are there parts on ebay to purchase and is it a DIY job? Anybody with any experience of enabling the bluetooth phone function - grateful to hear -I ideally want to avoid main dealers

DIY job, you will need a number of parts but it is quite straight forward. Think you may also need a member with VCDS to code it for you

If you have a Stream radio, you'll need a Bolero (or Columbus/Amundsen) and a Bluetooth module. Once you have the bits, it should take no more than an hour. Pretty straightforward and plenty of tips if you search the forum.

Thanks to you both, I in fact have the Columbus - however in the setup menu there is no ''phone'' option - hence the query in my post above
