Ok so i fitted some odd sized wheels :P

 

I have very slight rubbing on full lock, but it is rubbing on the brake fluid pipe. So i need a small spacer 5mm / 10mm 

 

The question is what do i do about the wheel nuts, is there enough tolerance to allow for 5mm?

 

If not where would i get longer wheel nuts and whats the standard size?

What wheels are they?

The offset must be way off for them to be touching your brake pipe.

Make sure you get the correct type of wheel BOLT,standard OEM type alloys have a radius seat,most aftermarket wheels have a tapered seat.

I fitted some 18" wheels and even they just caught the inside wheel arch so yeah, they must be a wierd size!

They are 

5x100 17x7.5 42et 215 40 17 

 

I reckon they need 10mm spacers.

Audi wheels tend to be around 32 to 36 offset so yeah 10mm spacers.

215 tyres are prob a bit wide too.

I get some rubbing on mine in that size, mainly on the occasional bump but with the slight extra width I prefer them for the track though. (Probably more a mental than actual benefit but whatever works for me).
