Horrid hissing noise from car last night

Driving away from a day at another office and after about 300 yards I heard the oddest hissing noise coming from the car - pulled over to the side of the road, in a parking bay area, and left it running at tickover - still hissing, blipping the throttle did nothing.... So got out, walked to the front of the car, no hissing - round to nearside, no hissing....

Opened passenger door -hissing was back! Aha, so its inside... proceeded to play with fan speeds thinking it was that - nope. Then I realised my ears were telling me the noise was coming from behind the passenger seat - opened back door and....

A dump bin full of cleaning gunk I had in the back had been moved to make way for me to bring some documents back to my normal office - It had moved around a capless can of metal polish, which had shoved it against the side of the dump bin. The pressure of other bottles against it was proceeding to push down the button and fill up the bottom of the dump bin with foam. :rofl::doh:

Oh, I laughed (in relief ;))

done that with road marking paint.my tool bag now has a lovely blue interior. :)

a friend had a 5ltr bottle of oil tip over in his boot once and wondered where the oil was coming from on his driveway... took half a sack of rags to get the oil mopped up...
