Anyone near Reading (RG5) that can help me out ASAP ? Pretty please ?

Featured Replies

My Octavia VRS (2011) has just failed its MOT as the wrong fog light is working. Apparently this can be changed using VCP using this technique and codes :   http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/359510-enabling-both-rear-fogs-on-o2-fl-yeti-success/?p=4326732

Is there anyone near Reading (happy to travel!!) that could help me out for some beer money or similar? I am desperate and would appreciate it so much!! Need my car to be able to get to work over Xmas!

My original thread is here which explains the problem.

Thanks all. Hope some kind soul can help!!!

Thank you!!! I shall send a message now. Appreciate it loads!

No worries, he's been inactive since the 4th so might not respond quickly, might be worth while taking a nosey and seeing if anyone else nearby is available as well

I'm here :)

Happy to help out with vagcom although I haven't read the thread, but if you know what needs doing, no problem. I'm around tomorrow and Sunday morning. Live next to Tilehurst fire station, RG30.

Sorry, just skim read the other thread and not sure whether your lights can be changed with VCDS which I have or if you need those more advanced tools.

Happy to help with VCDS if I can.

Thank you so much! I am free all of tomorrow if you want to let me know a good time and I will head on over. Appreciate it so much! Thankyou! I will look into it and get details as to what needs doing.... Life saver :D

VCDS cannot fix the light configuration on a fl Octavia, you need either VCP or ODIS-e. VAS-PC might be able to help but I'm not sure...
