Every time i leave the car more than 3 days it gets a flat battery

 

Ive checked the battery volts on idle it gives 14 v and around 12 v under load

 

Ive checked after 2 days and it reads the above figures... There is something draining my battery, what could it be.. ive taken the boot light bulb out, and it still occurs. How do i check my batterys capacity? maybe thats the issue? 

A battery tester from almost anywhere will tell you how good the battery is. I've got two different type. A draper one and a one used in VW dealerships.

I think it's called a drop test.

That will show the battery's life and condition basically.

Multi-meter should show any drains though.

Yep battery tested, should have 650+ it currently has 380 .. guess its new battery time. I got it tested at Halfords, as Kwik fit had a hours wait, Halford used their Yuasa tester.. and it stated new battery needed.

 

Im Looking at the Varta batterties, such as found here : https://www.tayna.co.uk/Type-096-Varta-Silver-Dynamic-Car-Battery-P3197.html

 

My concern is they all measure 278mm, ive measured my space to be 260mm . Has anyone fitted a Varta ? there all the same length it seems

On my old car it had a varta. Was 8 years old when I sold the car and still goig strong.

Mine was black. But other than than it looked pretty similar.

Guess i can put all my LED'S back in now, removed all but front lights :p started working back from what id changed.
