Datatool RevLight - shift light

Featured Replies

I bought this years ago with the intention of fitting it to my old 2 litre Clio. However, it's been sat here in the box since then doing nothing!

For those who don't know anything about these, they are a multi-mode programmable shift light. One of the modes is sequential mode and can be seen in these YouTube videos...

The printed circuit board on these is flexible. It was initially designed primarily for motorbike installation, but many people put them onto cars. Installation is fairly easy - you need to be able to tap into a tachometer pulse wire. Then a bit of time setting it up for your application and you're done!

I was going to wire it up to a switch so that I could turn it off when I wanted. So I'm including this switch and a little bit of extra wiring in the sale. The light has a plastic surround which you can fit if you want. What you get is seen below...

These have been unavailable to buy for years now and are very sought after. If it doesn't sell on here then I'm sure it will be snapped up on eBay. You can install these lights in so many places. I was half tempted to get it built into my steering wheel when I got it re-trimmed - similar to a Ferrari!...

Due to the rarity I'm looking for £55 posted.
