Anthracite Grey Octavia - Wheel Colours

Featured Replies

Has anyone got any pictures of Anthracite Grey Mk2 Octavias with different wheel colours?

I've tried searching, but hit a load of threads with anthracite wheels and Race Blue cars  :notme:

Hopefully ChrisRs won't mind, but his car looks like mine - could someone photoshop the pics here to anthracite, dark silver, black etc wheels http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/273733-opinions-on-anthracitegrey-vrs/?p=3273309

Any help much appreciated.

Looking at a refurb of the standard Neptunes at some point and I suspect standard silver will look best, but just want to check :)

Not sure if my cars gray is anthracite and the wheels are Zeniths but you get the idea. Excuse poor picture quality.

These are my standard factory fit 18" alloys from 2012.

Silver is best :)

Well I decided to go for new wheels in the end. The Neptunes aren't the best looking and are heavy. I agree, silver is the way to go.

I liked the look of multi spokes, but not too many spokes, something like the OZ Ultraleggera (which I had on my Focus) or TD Race Pro 1.2/1.3.

Took a bit of a punt, as the supplier had poor reviews and the site didn't state the colour, but they were cheap enough for the slight risk!

Paid on CC to get a bit of protection, but all was fine in the end  :whew: Shipped from Germany in a day or two, free postage via DPD with tracking and even came with new bolts and spiggot rings.

I went for an option I haven't seen much of elsewhere on the net, bar a few pictures.

Chucked them on bathroom scales and they came in at around 9kg.

They arrived in titanium/polished. The front face of the spokes and the rim is polished, the rest is silver. They look good IMO. My only reservation is how long the polished finish will last, but I'm happy for the price I paid and may refurbish them in silver all over if it begins to deteriorate. Watching the used wheels on ebay, generally in need of refurb, I think these were a bargain :)

Sorry for the poor picture, and it will be a little while until I get them fitted, as I'll get that sorted when I get brake discs changed in a few weeks  :sun:

I'll update with a picture on the car once all done.
