Skoda fabia Android Auto won't work with ASUS Zenfone 2

Featured Replies

I just bought a Skoda Fabia and tried to contact our ASUS Zenfone 2 with Android 5.0. Android Auto was only connected the first time but no connection since then with message"Error: usb device.

It can be confirmed it;s compatible devices otherwise it won't be connected first time. could anyone advise why it's showing "error:usb device" when I plug in after the initial set up?

Try to reboot phone, change usb cable.

Last week my Fabia arrived to town, I'm love it so far. Regardless to your problem yesterday I had a similar problem I only could connect my S6 by smart link, my solution was to stop the car and when I turned on select the option that says something like "do you want to connect you smartphone with the car" or somenthing like this (mine it's in spanish, so I'm not sure). If you say yes it connects to android auto or car play but if you say no goes directly to mirror link.

This is my case, hope your enjoy the fabia it's awesome.
