15'' 5x100 Steelies with almost new Toyo Proxes tyres

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have a set of steelies for sale, I have scrubbed them well with a wire brush (attached to a drill) and a lot of sanding + bath in Kurust. Then applied etch primer and black top coat. POR-15 applied on the inside. They will be fine for a while. Fitted with nearly new Toyo Proxes, they have done cca 500 miles.

Tyres alone would cost around £140....so how about £80 collected from Manchester.  Good as a spare set while cleaning your alloys or winter set or track day set? (fit Fabia vRS, Polo, Ibiza, Golf..) 5x100 stud fitment

If you ever split them let me know, I want one for a spare and most new cars don't come with a spare these day.

If I got more people interested they would be £25 each, still a bargain

indeed.

I'm happy to keep 2 if you take 2 (£50). That will allow me to put them on (front or back) while cleaning the alloys in pairs.

No its ok, I have no need for 2, TBH I don't have the car yet im just trying to source a spare as it comes with a tin of foam which I don't feel safe with.

ok, no problem

Obviously if someone also wants one for 25 that would make no difference to you and I'd be happy with that. Let me know if anyone gets in touch.

Yeah fine by me...

I'm needing 2 new tyres and a refurb, I have a full spare set of VRS alloys to be fair from my 1.4tdi but they're boring, might rock the steelies for a bit being as they have decent tyres.

Almost new meaning 6-7m tread?

Yes.

(i'm after 17' spiders in white...but the steelies will part fund the PD150 fitting)

Wheels have now been sold elsewhere, thanks for interest.
